The prize-winning works of the World Press Cartoon Oeiras 2025 are signed by Agustin Sciammarella (Italy), Aristides Hernandez (Cuba), Darko Drljevic (Montenegro), David Pinto and Carlos Chinto (Spain), Frank Hoppmann (Germany), Ivan Mata (Spain), José Vaz (Portugal), Nahid Maghsoudi (Iran) and Pawel Kuczynski (Poland).
The prizes will be announced and these authors will receive their trophies at a music and comedy show hosted by Inês Lopes Gonçalves, featuring Ana Brito e Cunha, the Catalan comedy group Clownic, and the 24 Robbers Swing Band.
In addition to honouring the winners, the ceremony will be an opportunity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of World Press Cartoon, which is now back to the global stage with the support of the Oeiras City Council.
The exhibition will be open to the public at Palácio Anjos, Algés, in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, from November 8, 2025, to February 8, 2026.
150 authors and 123 publications from 41 countries will be represented.
The Oeiras Valley is a project supported by the City Council of Oeiras whose mission is to create a unique ecosystem for the innovation and development of the country.
