World Press Cartoon 19th edition will take place, in the Autumn of 2026, once again in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, in the municipality of Oeiras.

The event continues to feature an attractive structure of 10 prizes, including a Grand Prix worth 10,000 Euros.

Cartoons published over the following period will be admitted:

1 January 2025  >  31 May 2026

Please read the competion rules carefully, and note that the authors will have the opportunity to submit six works in total, two for each category of the competition: Editorial Cartoon, Caricature and Gag Cartoon.

At a particularly difficult moment for journalism around the world, mainly for cartoonists, the World Press Cartoon continues to be a celebration of freedom of expression.
