A digital print made from newspapers, by the Italian author Gio, artistic name of Mariagrazia Quaranta, was distinguished with the Grand Prix of the 16th edition of WORLD PRESS CARTOON, the great annual event of humor drawing in the international press, which opened yesterday doors at the Cultural and Congress Center of Caldas da Rainha.
First prize in its category, the design was published by the Spanish online newspaper Mundiario, in November 2020.
Since its inception, the World Press Cartoon has always sought to reward the most relevant cartoons each year, subjecting the best works and authors to the scrutiny of a jury of their peers.
We have always had the honor of having several world reference names in the cartoon area as a jury, and this year was no exception.
