Created in 2004, and holding its 15th edition this year, World Press Cartoon is the central event in the world of graphic humor in the fields of editorial, caricature and humor cartoon.

With a jury made of established cartoon authors, the event gathers the most relevant cartoons published each year, with prizes awarded in the following year.

After a few years in the Lisbon area, specifically Sintra, the prize ceremony has been taking place since 2017 in Caldas da Rainha, in the central area of Portugal
